Instructed on behalf of the Defendant to provide Expert Quantity Surveying advise for use in mediation.
Scope
The Expert instruction involved providing advice on whether the costs allegedly being incurred by the building owner in respect of remedial works to the high pressure laminate façade (including any other costs, for example, design, contingency, project team, consultants’ fees associated with the same) were reasonable and, if not, to identify and quantify the extent of those costs which were deemed unreasonable, as well as the estimated costs provided by the architect firm.
Outcome
The claim settled at mediation.
