The company was founded by young surveyor Justin Sullivan who had the ambition to start his own business and build something for himself. Justin realised his goal in September 1994 by setting up Adair.

Adair continues to grow through repeat business and recommendations from its valued clients including developers, banks, solicitors and contractors. Taking the time building great relationships with high-net-worth individuals to win work across the UK and overseas including the Middle East, Spain, Gibraltar, Ireland, Finland and America.
The company relocates to a larger office in Epsom, Surrey and by this time the business has evolved from a quantity surveying firm to a prosperous business offering quantity surveying work along with project management, bank monitoring, and building surveying.
With an office just opened in London as well as Surrey and Gibraltar, Adair celebrates its 25th anniversary with clients, friends and colleagues.
Adair announces Justin Sullivan, Founder & Managing Director appointment as new Deputy Chair of the Construction Industry Council (CIC) and subsequently a year later becomes Chair of the Construction Industry Council.
Adair provides a new service offering Dispute Resolution from the Central London office proving to be very successful necessitating a move to larger premises in cool Covent Garden.
