The fire alarm system and sprinkler coverage used prior to the following works was dated in the main mall areas. Working alongside M&E consultants to prepare the required specification of works and to carry out the following works: managing the tender process including full analysis, report on costs, preparation of JCT contracts, monitoring and coordination of the construction phase of the project and undertaking valuations to issue certificates in accordance with the building contract. Because of when the shopping centre was built and prior to any fire alarm upgrades proceeding, an asbestos consultant had to conduct asbestos surveys to all areas that were being upgraded.
