Adair was appointed as Quantity Surveyor and Employers Agent for the refurbishment of farm buildings on the estate. The Grade II listed stone buildings had been left unused and in a bad state of repair. Additionally some of the farm buildings had been extensively damaged by fire and there were further environmental issues including bats, nesting barn owls, tree preservation and archaeological finds. Part of our services required implementing a value for money process to show that the agreed contract sum provided good value and we were able to use our extensive benchmarking for residential developments to demonstrate this.
