Adair is thrilled to announce our official sponsorship of the Crosbie McGeown Academy of Irish Dance. Based in Maida Vale, the academy is a pillar of the London dance community, led by veteran principal teacher and adjudicator Aaron Crosbie ADCRG BG and our very own Joe McGeown TCRG.
A Legacy of Excellence
Joe has been a vital part of the Adair team as a Quantity Surveyor for over two years, but his history with the academy spans much longer. Under Aaron’s guidance, Joe secured his second World Title in Glasgow in 2018. Following his teaching examinations in Prague last October, Joe has officially transitioned from student to teacher.
The Road to Chicago
Fresh off the back of a successful run at the All-Ireland Championships in Killarney – where students achieved numerous personal bests—the academy is now preparing for the ultimate stage: the 2026 World Championships in Chicago.
To support their journey, Adair has sponsored new training wear for the students and teachers representing the academy on the global stage this April.
“We are extremely grateful to Justin and the entire Adair team for their continued support,” says Joe. “It means a lot to have the backing of my colleagues as we prepare to take our dancers to Chicago.”
