The first task was to establish the contractual mechanisms and obligations, then inspect over 1,000 properties across the borough, over a three-month period in order to identify any evidence of poor workmanship, lack of supervision or breaches of contract. The properties inspected varied from small terraced Victorian houses to large blocks of over 100 flats. The Client required the CPR Part 35 Compliant Report completed with accompanying schedules of photographs of all the defects observed across the various properties within a short timeframe. Qualified and experienced professionals from various departments within the company assisted in undertaking the inspections, identifying defects and breaches in a timely manner to allow the dispute resolution team to focus on producing the Client reports, cost the remedial work and meet the required deadline.
