Adam works on delivering a range of dispute resolution and quantity surveying services on residential new build and refurbishment projects. These are for private clients and developers. He will particularly focus on advising on the quantum of claims, providing cost advice on repair solutions for disputes, preparing costings and performing project monitoring.
Molly is responsible for day to day accounting including producing monthly management accounts as well as tax and VAT returns and yearly accounts. She covers all areas in accounts payable and receivable, production and execution of invoices and assists with audits and all banking duties.
Molly is a graduate from Kingston University in Accounting and Finance and is now studying to become fully qualified with ACCA.
Ben’s focus is on private residential projects. He prepares cost plans, produces tender documents for procuring contractors, monitors project costs in line with approved budgets and performs post-contract financial reporting of projects.
Benjamin helps deliver the full range of building surveying services with a focus on aids and adaptation work on residential projects for local authorities, including completing drawings and specifications. He manages projects such as commercial shop fit out as well as party wall surveys, planned maintenance programmes and the production of drawings, mainly for residential projects.
Ed has a BSc (Hons) in Business Management from the University of East Anglia and has since completed an MSc in Building Surveying at Kingston University. This included subjects such as building pathology, contract law, building regulations and sustainable construction technologies.
Ed will help deliver the full range of building surveying services, including condition surveys, dilapidations, and reinstatement cost assessments. He will principally focus on commercial and residential properties for developers, asset managers and private clients.
Since joining Adair, James has worked as a quantity surveyor, contract administrator and employer’s agent on numerous super prime residential projects most notably the refurbishment of two adjoining Grade 2 listed buildings and their conversion into 14 apartments.
James now sits in Adair’s dispute resolution team, assisting experts in report writing, defect analysis, forensic quantity surveying and document management. James has assisted on over 50 expert witness cases and attends mediations, adjudication hearings and trials on a regular basis.
Joanna will develop the company marketing strategy and have overall responsibility for the marketing budget. She will follow up new business opportunities and oversee Adair’s networking events, hospitality, communications, brand image and PR activities.
Her strategic support will contribute to the continued growth of the company and maintain its excellent reputation.
Kayla assists in maintaining all of the social media accounts and website for the brand and it’s services. She helps with the production of promotional materials and helps organise and plan promotional events, exhibitions and seminars. She also plans and evaluates marketing campaigns using tracking and analytical software to assess the results.
Kayla is a Business Management with Marketing graduate from the University of Surrey and is now studying to gain a Level 6 Diploma with The Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Joseph delivers the full range of project management services, including scheduling, risk management and tendering. He principally focuses on large new build, renovation and refurbishment projects, mainly on prime and super prime residential properties for private clients.
Luke works on new build and refurbishment projects for developers and private clients. This includes measurements, material and sub-contractor pricing, completing bills of quantities and liaising with contractors.
Michael is in his final year of an LLB at the University of Exeter where is he is also president of the University’s Real Estate Society.
Michael has gained experience through internships at multiple city law firms. He uses his knowledge to support the dispute team as it assists clients through their claim procedures in adjudications, mediations and other alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.
James is a Senior Consultant working with the building surveying team and also acts as an expert witness for construction claims and as a single joint expert.
His responsibilities include conducting pre-acquisition due diligence surveys, project management and project monitoring, preparing schedules of condition, tendering and contract administration and preparing dilapidations schedules and measurement surveys. James also heads up the party wall surveying team.
James’s many projects include the acquisition of a Grade A business park (value circa 80m) and a 300-acre industrial site (value circa 20m), multi-million pound traditional and design & build projects, party wall matters for a large reroofing programme for a London borough and preparing portfolios for sale and leaseback by large high street occupiers.
Ashley has held a number of technical positions as a construction manager, project manager and quantity surveyor working on the client side, consultancy and as a main contractor. His project expertise encompasses retail, hospitality, commercial, CAT A and B offices, fit-out and residential varying from £7k to £150m in value.
Ashley delivers project management services for Adair and his responsibilities include developing and maintaining client relationships for new commercial opportunities, ultimately developing and growing the business and making new connections.
Joe Moran, a Chartered Professional Quantity Surveyor has recently joined Adair to head up the new Reinstatement Cost Assessment service. Joe has a strong construction industry background with over 16 years’ experience working on a diverse range of projects across multiple sectors including retail, hotels, commercial and residential. Prior to joining Adair, Joe was responsible for undertaking reinstatement cost assessments ranging in value from £500k to £500m on portfolios of varying size and complexity.
