The project began with the demolition of the existing building and clearing the site. As Project Managers, we liaised with the local government to ensure a smooth and successful planning process and worked with the statutory authorities to ensure any site-related issues did not hinder project progress.
In addition to the brief, we tested the international market to ensure that the finished design would maximise the value of the completed project. This resulted in design changes, such as creating extra space in the top-floor master bedroom suite and relocating the swimming pool. The planned building foundations were also reviewed and recommended changes made that reduced cost, saved time and gained further space.
The site was then sold before construction started. Consequently, we were appointed by the new owner to provide project monitoring services during the construction.
